The Old Lyme Country Club pool continues to be the best hilltop oasis in the shoreline area. The sparkling pool provides a wonderful variety of activities for adults and children, and the pool terrace (complete with wi-fi access) is a favorite spot for relaxing, meeting up with friends, dining, and entertaining.

The swimming season at the club begins on Memorial Day weekend and extends right up to Labor Day in September, with a comfortable heated pool, all season long. And for our littlest guests, there is a toddler pool in a safe, fenced in area. Large private changing rooms make it a breeze to step off the tennis court or golf course and jump into the pool!

OLCC boasts one of the top swim teams in the shoreline league with over 25 swimmers ages 6-16. The OLCC Stingrays train hard throughout July to compete once a week with other private clubs in the area, and many new friendships are formed!

In addition, the pool dedicates time for adult-only lane swimming, water aerobics classes, teen water-polo, children’s group clinics, all which are overseen by an experienced lifeguard staff and the Pool Director. Private swimming lessons are offered to all ages and ability levels.

The OLCC Pool is a summer-time go-to place, popular for group playdates, special events and is even available for hosting private parties for birthdays, end of school celebrations, family reunions, or corporate events!

With its expansive terrace, hilltop views, recreation area, and certified expertly trained staff, the OLCC pool is a favorite venue for much more than just swimmers. The Snack Bar offers refreshing drinks and snacks throughout the day. And a full lunch and dinner menu is available each day. 

Each day of our pool season, members of the Old Lyme Country Club enjoy the relaxing lounge areas, in the sun or in the shade, and the overall calm oasis the pool provides for those long days of summer.

Should there be a pool closure, an email announcing the closure will be sent to the Club Membership. 
 
In case of thunder, the pool will close and remain closed for 30 minutes from the last sound of thunder.
